On the basis of selected sources and literature, this course conveys insights into key themes and research debates of English constitutional and political history from the late fifteenth to the early eighteenth centuries.
Reading, analysis and discussion of sources and secondary literature; group work; short presentations by students.
Regular and active participation; short presentation; exam at the end of term.
