In the course of the introductory seminar, the economic as well as political importance of the Alpine georesources in the late Middle Ages and the early modern period will be discussed. Above all, the supraregional reference should be the focus of the lectures and research findings. In addition, an emphasis is placed on the understanding and reading skills of contemporary sources.
