Studierende nehmen an einer internationalen Tagung im Fach Europäische Ethnologie teil und lernen dadurch die verschiedenen Inhalte der Tagung (Thema: Regelverstöße und Macht) sowie den wissenschaftlichen Austausch durch aktive Teilnahme kennen.

Wir nehmen am 15. internationalen Kongress der SIEF (Société Internationale d´Ethnologie et de Folklore) teil. Das Thema lautet lautet Regelbruch als kulturelle und soziale Praxis:

Rules discipline our actions, minds, and bodies. They map out our communication with environments, objects, and agents into intensely affective domains of the accepted and the forbidden, laden with symbolism, triggering resistance or compliance.

SIEF2021 brings into focus discourses and practices of making, breaking, reinterpreting and transgressing rules. To break the rules is to be an agent of change, exposing faultlines, establishments, hegemonies, and vulnerabilities. We propose to examine the implications of “breaking the rules” in social, economic, political, cultural and academic contexts. In the tradition of folkloristic, ethnological, and anthropological inquiries around rule-making, bending and breaking, we invite you to examine cultural forms of participation to create an understanding of what happens and what is at stake when rules are transgressed or broken in everyday life. Die Tagung findet vom 21.-24.6.2021 online statt. Tagungsgebühren werden sich laut Auskunft des Organisationsteams auf ca. 50 Euro belaufen (ist noch nicht fixiert).

Vorbereitende Sitzungen am 23.4., 30.4. und 28.5.2021 von 10.15-11.45 Uhr (online). Die Anmeldung zur Tagung muss selbstständig erfolgen, verbilligte Teilnahme bei einer Anmeldung zwischen dem 1.2. und 8.3.2021 (early bird registration).

5 Protokolle, davon drei von Panels (alle Vorträge, pro Vortrag max. 1 Seite) und zwei Keynotes (max. 3 Seiten).

Es besteht die Möglichkeit, die Tagungsteilnahme vertieft vorzubereiten und dazu die LV 645618 zu besuchen. Dies ist aber keine Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an der Exkursion.
