After completing this module, students understand elementary methods of applied mathematics, with a focus on computer science. They are familiar with formulations and expressions, capable to solve relevant problems through targeted application of methods and to work out similar contents themselves.
Solving practical examples on: functions, differential calculus, differntial equations, integral calculus, series and sequences, numerical approximations, solving systems of equations, interpolation, random numbers, complex numbers.
