The students

- describe the basic principles of science;

- explain the basic criteria of scientific work;

- reproduce the formal requirements of scientific work;

- describe different types of scientific work.

- use a scientific language and citation rules correctly.

- produce scientific papers using a word processing system.

- master presentation techniques

- specify the basic principles for the evaluation and peer review of scientific work

- develop research questions based on a problem statement;

- define the process of a scientific literature search;

- realize an independent structured as well as a systematic literature search in relevant national and international databases

- document these process steps accordingly;

- present selected scientific work and practice-oriented problems/statements in the context of sign language interpreting
