In this course, students gain insight into the political, ideological, and philosophical contexts of architecture, urbanism, and landscape in the first half of the 20th century.
This year, the Architectural Theory M lectures will focus on Austria. Central are the continuities in Austrian culture, as expressed in three important avant-gardes -the fin de siècle, the interwar period and the fifties and sixties.
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
