Linguistic Goals:
to recognise/ link/ pronounce Arabic letters/ graphemes; to greet someone and say goodbye; to introduce yourself; to ask people about their family/ where they live/ come from; to apologise; to give one’s phone number; to ask the meaning of Arabic words
Structural Goals:
personal pronouns singular; possessive suffixes - to indicate possession; the present tense indicative conjugation singular - to express actions in the immediate present; question words “where”, “where to”, “where from”, “how”; Arabic-Hindi numbers; short and long vowels; nominal sentences
written and oral
mid term test (testing of listening comprehension, Arabic letters and speaking) and final test (testing of writing, listening and reading comprehension and speaking/dialogues)
