At this level the learner can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning; he/she can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions; he/she can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes; he/she can produce clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

art and hobbies; literary texts; inventions and technology; physical activities, routines, health, and lifestyle; city life, urban spaces, and architecture; special occasions, customs, and beliefs
Linguistic Goals:
to describe images; to tell a descriptive narrative and discuss literary themes; to write a letter of application; to write a proposal; to discuss problems, a variety of topics, and how to deal with various situations; to write a discussion essay; to write a film review; to take turns in interviews and formal conversations; to listen to and discuss a wide range of audio materials (monologues, interviews, podcasts, news reports etc.)
Structural Goals:
simple and continuous verb forms - to talk about complete and incomplete or temporary actions; participle clauses - to add more information to a sentence; cleft sentences - to lay special emphasis on different parts of the sentence; speculation and deduction; gerunds and infinitives - to distinguish between verbs; conditionals; ellipsis and substation - to avoid repeating; passive reporting verbs - to generalise about what most people say or think
