Students

  • are familiar with the basic terms in electrical engineering.
  • master the mathematical apparatus required for the description and can apply it to simple electrical engineering tasks.
  • are able to analyse simple linear and non-linear circuits with DC excitation and take the temperature dependence of resistive bipolars into account.
  • know descriptions of essential transformations of el ectrical energy in other forms of energy and vice versa.

Basic terms (electric charge, forces on strength, field strength, voltage, potential, current), electrostatic field, stationary electric flow field, electrothermal energy conversion processes, processes in DC networks (basic terms and laws, basic circuit, Kirchhoff theorems, superposition principle, two port theory, nodal analysis), capacitance and capacitor;

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
