The lecture’s goal is the development of a philosophy of psychology: We will reflect on the philosophical implications of central psychological assumptions.

Both psychology and philosophy is centered on the question of what the human being is. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that there are numerous connections between the two fields. Our lecture focuses on these connections, with an emphasis on the philosophical presuppositions of psychoanalysis, behaviorism, and other psychological disciplines.
