Knowledge of Plato’s Politeia.

The Politeia is one of the most important Platonic works.

Plato deals with justice and other topics of practical philosophy, but also with basic questions concerning epistemology, ontology and philosophical psychology.

Lecture of primary texts with paper-presentation.

Seminary work.

Plato’s Politeia: Greek/German.

For Bachelor's Programme Philosophy at Faculty of Catholic Theology (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1.
For Bachelor's Programme Catholic Religious Education (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1.
For Diploma Programme Catholic Theology (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of studies programme.

This course is organized in cooperation with the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Brixen. Please note that for admission you have to be a registered student of the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Brixen (incl. tuition fee), additionally to the admission requirements of the University of Innsbruck.
