Religions shape our society and provoke again and again controversial discussions. Some disputes, like the chador’s ban, arguing about caricatures and headscarf as well as religious fundamentalism shall be analysed and discussed together in this course from a philosophical and theological point of view..
Reading and discussion.
The achievement test results from the active participation, the presentation of a paper as well as a scientific final thesis.
The bibliographical reference is given at the beginning of the course.
For Bachelor's Programme Philosophy at Faculty of Catholic Theology (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1.
For Bachelor's Programme Catholic Religious Education (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1.
For Diploma Programme Catholic Theology (2021): positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of studies programme.
