222606 VO Fundamental Theology and Theology of Religions
winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 27.09.2021 | Place course on memo listThe basic themes of the subject are presented with the consideration of a theology of religions in such a way that students can understand and help shape the pluralism of the present as an opportunity for the life proposal of the Gospel.
Fundamental theology as the foundation of a theology in the signs of the times is developed as a dialogue competence in the ideological and above all religious pluralism of the present in such a way that the students experience this pluralism as an opportunity to understand ever more deeply the mystery of God's love, in order to be able to become actors in a world society in which peace and justice, as well as the preservation of creation, become ever more clearly recognisable as characteristics of a new humanity. The guiding ideas developed are: Pilgrimage and non-exclusionary hospitality as forms of life in the presence of the greater divine reality.
Lecture with opportunities for discussion (based on texts provided in advance).
Written or oral.
