Knowledge of how to write a diploma thesis and of the tools necessary for writing a diploma thesis.

This course offers a basic knowledge of and renders assistance for writing a diploma thesis. It deals with the choosing a topic, searching for literature and other material, structuring and writing the thesis. The focus is put on quoting correctly and using legal databases.

This course also invites students to share their writing experiences and to discuss problems they face during the writing process.

Lecture and practical exercises, discussing students’ problems and questions.

In order to obtain a course certificate students have to attend the meetings, participate in the discussion and take an oral examination at the end of the course.
