winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 15.06.2022 | Place course on memo listCurr. § 5 (1) 9: Students are able to name the most important theoretical models of contemporary society and to explain structures and changes within different society models. They recognize the possibilities and limits opened by socio-theoretical models, and they understand the dependence of society models on their respective social context of origin.
The course deals with literature concerning social change and contemporary society.
A focus will be on Japanese society and globalization processes.
Semester paper and presentation in the seminar, regular active contributions to the seminar.
