The course accompanies the lecture of the same name. In addition to conceptual clarifications of the understanding and function of various social institutions, transformation processes in particular will be examined. 

The virtual meetings focus on the discussion of sociological theories, which will be prepared individually by the participants. In the attendance block, these theories will be elaborated in greater depth in small groups using examples from institutions of politics, the market and civil society.
