Contents:

This lecture with seminar-discussions provides an introduction to political sociology and provides students with knowledge about the historical development of political modernity and forms of government. The students learn to recognize and analyze political phenomena of contemporary society in their connection with other social structures. The topics "social movements" and "the public" are examined in depth.

Lecture, discussion.

Assessment:

Final take-home exam.
