Students are able to name connections between social changes and technical-media developments transparently. They acquire the ability to adequantely assess and describe the meaning of historical and contemporary media discourses.
Enabling media scientificly informed discussion of historical and contemporary case studies. We will focus on the aspects of knowledge ecology and economy as well as data in the discourse of education (e.g. artificial intelligence and learning analytics).

Mandatory participation in the Media Day "Data Politics.Dealing with data in the digital age" (if there is an online possibility for distance participation, probably in German) on 19.11.2020 from 17 to approx. 20 o'clock.
Possibly part of this course will be conducted in English if there will be COIL collaboration with Aurora partner universities.
