Students are aware of the interplay between audiovisual, online and print media (trimediality) and can apply their knowledge to practical media examples in a goal-oriented manner.

Students learn the essential characteristics of radio, television and online media. The focus here is on making their own radio showt and creating a joint broadcast in cooperation with Radio Freirad.

Theoretical and practical input, making your own radio report (research, writing technique, editing, dubbing).  Team Work (compilation of the broadcast)

Production of an own radio report within the scope of a 1-2 hour broadcast. Assessment criteria for the contribution: effort (incorporation of stylistic and sound/interviewelements) / creativity, time management (specifications and submissions), teamwork.

"Active master's programme" -  Compulsary attendance!

The minor “Media Practice” covering 30 ECTS-Credits can be selected by degree students of Master’s programmes at the University of Innsbruck, providing the relevant curriculum allows for the option to pass a minor.
