In this course, students learn about instructional design theories and develop competencies for the design of online teaching-learning units at the lesson and course level.

Students get to know an instructional design ("Didaktisches Design") and its components in detail and define their role as teachers in e-learning. They learn about essential legal aspects using ICT-supported media and current developments in the e-learning field. Furthermore, they deal with the question of whether an "instructional/educationally guided" design of online teaching and learning arrangements is to be preferred to a "technically possible" one.

The lecture contents are linked to the contents of the PS "433230 Development of e-based teaching-learning units". The following contents are exclusively the subject of the proseminar: theory-based selection and application of digital tools and practical work on the design and implementation of digital teaching-learning arrangements.

Lecture, discussions, case studies

In terms of a digital teaching arrangement, e-learning tools and relevant teaching approaches are applied. Students can experience both synchronous and asynchronous forms of lecture. In addition to theoretical inputs, interaction through synchronous and asynchronous discussion has an important part.

Master's program in Business Education: course assessment according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations".

Interdisciplinary offer: it is possible to take a lecture exam (without the contents of the proseminar).
