winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 14.10.2021 | Place course on memo listIn this seminar you will learn within an innovation sprint how to develop a new product/service in collaboration with corporate partners. Thereby, the shortest possible time, the help of team and user input, as well as customer-centricity will help you to successfully introduce your innovation to the market. You will learn the framework, concrete methods and tools of an innovation sprint. You will learn how different competencies and people, different approaches to idea development within time pressure, teamwork and user feedback can be aligned.
In a practical project you will step into the role of an innovation manager and participate in a innovation sprint together with companies/startups. The innovation sprint is a five-day process with the aim of realizing a product or the further development of a product in the shortest possible time, with the help of team and user input.
- Day 1: Kick Off, Understanding & Mapping
- Day 2: Defining, Ideation, Sketching, Deciding & Storyboarding
- Day 3: Prototyping
- Day 4: Testing
- Day 5: Documentation and Planning
The innovation sprint not only allows you to learn theoretical know-how, creativity techniques and an iterative agile innovation process, but also develop and present extensive project ideas and validated prototypes in a short time. The design sprint takes place in collaboration with the innovation center Inncubator.

If the student is changed from the status "registration desired" to the status "registration confirmed" after the end of the registration period of the MA studies, the student is automatically registered in the SE 436041, SE 436042, SE 436043 and SE436044 belonging to the module.
