The objective of the course is to conduct a research project in the field of business in a systematic way. After a critical literature review the students will start with the development of the concept of the research design and sample, followed by the formulation of hypotheses and the questionnaire. At the end the students are shown different possibilities in analysing quantitative data with supporting software whereas the most important findings are presented in a project report.

 

Importance of research projects, stages you need to complete a research project, how to identify the attributes of a good research project, how to distinguish between research approaches, how to select a sample, development of questionnaires, how to write a final project report.

Lecture, discussion, presentation of student projects

- 40% individual participation - 60% final project report including presentation.
