This course shows how the Business Intelligence toolset can be used by SAP for operative and strategic corporate management. Based on a business case study the implementation of a business intelligence project is shown.

- Definitions of ERP and business intelligence (data warehouse, data mining, planning) - Transition from operating to strategic management - The BI-level model with data integration, data modeling, reporting and distribution - Transition of information needs in a strategic command information system - Current Trends of Business Performance Management
