The students develop necessary theoretical knowledge and analytical skills required for the efficient and effective acquisition, development, and utilization of human resources. The course adopts a future oriented approach in order to better prepare students for the rapidly changing landscape of work and employment relationships.
The course covers core topics in the management of human resources and discusses approaches to address future challenges. A selection of the topics includes:

- Recruitment & Selection
- Training & Development
- Compensation Management
- Performance Management
- Employer Branding
- People Analytics and digitalization in HRM
- New forms of work and the future of employment relationships
Instruction, group assignments (e.g. exercises, mini projects, cases) and individual assignments (e.g. reading assignments, essays)
Final exam and participation in class
positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3)
