Learning Outcome:

The course aims at analyzing the objectives and challenges of service management regarding the strategic and functional issues relevant in service organizations.

Contents:

The seminar intends to foster a better understanding of issues involved in service site selection, design of process and infrastructure relevant for the service organization, management of capacity and demand, planning logistics and support processes as well as growth.

Lecture, case studies and discussions, presentations of student teams, fieldwork, teamwork

Written assignments, presentations and class participation
