winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 17.08.2021 | Place course on memo listAt the end of this seminar, students are able (i) to understand and apply key basic functions in Excel and Python (relevant for working with data), (ii) create informative dashboards, and (iii) develop simple web scraping tools in Python.
This seminar introduces students to the application of specific business analytic aspects. Students will work with real data sets and learn some basic tools on how to handle large data sets efficiently using Excel and Python. Students will get an overview of accessing external data with APIs, creating dashboards and web scraping.
Class participation, assignment, exam.
Positive assessment of four further compulsory modules from the core business area in accordance with § 5 Para. 1
The seminar Digital Business is completely 'in-person'. Please be informed about the current requirements to participate (e.g. test or vaccination certificate).
