In-depth comprehension of selected issues in theoretical philosophy, specifically in epistemology and in its relation to practical philosophy.

 

The lecture will specifically address variations of skepticism from different philosophical eras and of divers orientation. Special attention will be paid to adequate forms of representing skeptical positions and to their implications for practical philosophy, including ethics and with the aim to identify the tenets of contemporary skepticism.
