Skills for critical examination and presentation of essential methods and strategies in Media Studies applied to a concrete example.

Please notice: This is not a how-to-do-course! Rather it focusses on theory and history of campaigns as forms of communication. We will examine well-known campaigns in literature, journalism and politics to find out the media-strategies and logics of communication that take place in such forms. Finally, we will analyze current campaigns in similar patterns of observation.
