To activate text-writing skill at C1+-level in order to write coherent, focused and well-organized essays.

Analysis and composition of texts focusing on narrative and argumentative techniques and points of view (organization, coherence and style). Students will be expected to read a novel at home and to write an interpretation/a commentary.

Critical in-class analysis of texts written by students. Self-guided learning. Error correction.

1 homework (short essay or literary analysis) (30%), regularly writing assignments and participation in class (300%), and final written exam (40%)

Further material will be provided by the teacher or uploaded on the OLAT platform. It is reccomended the use of a good Italian dictionary.

No particular requirement is given for the enrolment to this course.

The course will start during the first week of the semester.
