The course offers the essentials of Polish grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. The goal of the class is to work toward active language use. 

The Polish language course is designed to introduce students to the essentials of Polish grammar, the principles of Polish pronunciation, syntax, listening comprehension, conversation, orthography, and geography.

After the course, students will have a basic knowledge of the Polish language which corresponds to the requirements of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) A1/A2 levels. The topics include: information about a person and family, education, job, leisure, shopping, restaurant, travel, hotel, daily life, illness, home, Polish celebrations etc.

Interactive language teaching

Several tests will be held during the course. Final written test at the end of term.

Textbook: M. Malolepsza , A. Szymkiewicz : ”Hurra! Po polsku”

Further materials necessary for the course will be provided by the teacher
