winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 06.03.2023 | Place course on memo listAcquisition of skills for dealing with historic sources and studies critically, as well as the competence to present the newly-gained knowledge verbally and/or in writing; Acquisition of the competence to apply methods of auxiliary sciences.
Analyzing and contextualizing photographs as historical sources; developing historical questions towards photographs, historical representations/images and narratives.
Reading, oral presentations and handout, written paper, discussion; teacher's lecture.
Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, regular and active participation in discussions, oral presentation and handout, paper (max. 5 pages).
Reading list will be provided.
Prior to this course the completion of the fundamentals from the respective subject is recommended.
