Participants know the principles of how language in interaction works and the particular challenges of teaching spoken language in the FFL classroom. They can critically evaluate activities intended to teach interactional competence (e.g. in textbooks) and create good activities themselves. They are aware of the didactic principles to promote interactional competence throughout schooling and know criteria to evaluate that competence.

Participation in an international research project (DIGITASK4IC) that develops a digital tool to design tasks that promote interactional competence

This course is part of Compulsory Module 1 (“Subject-Specific Education”) Master's Programme Secondary School Teacher Training (General Education) Subject: French.
