In this tutorial students will intensify their knowledge on different aspects of the topic by concentrating on selected source texts and thematically relevant specialized literature.
Referring to selected examples, the history and the constitution of the Holy Roman Empire in early Modern Age shall be portrayed. The model of the complementary imperial state as well as its different levels (empire, ‘Kreis’, territories) shall be taken into account.
Short presentations by students, discussions, written exercises und teacher-centred teaching.
Active cooperation, discussion contributions, presentation with handout, short written test, short written exam at end of semester
