704005 PR Research Class in Experimental Quantum Physics
winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 29.07.2021 | Place course on memo listExperimental introduction into a MSc-thesis in the following semester by participation or supervised autonomous work on current research projects in the Biomedical Physics labs.
Experiments concerning different areas of applied optics: novel microscopy methods, laser tweezers, nonlinear spectroscopy, digital holography, diffractive optics, interferometry, light field steering with spatial light modulators.
Hands-on training
Based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants.
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
Prior participation in at least one course in the field of experimental optics would be desirable.
Takes place in the labs of "Biomedizinischen Physik" in town (hospital-ground). Personal registration. Limited number of participants, depending on availability of subsequent Master-thesis. Runs for 9 weeks, Masterthesis follows directly afterwards.
