The traditional Guitar Chamber Chamber Music lived a splendorous time in the 19th. Century. important composers such as Carulli, Giuliani, Paganini, Diabelli, and Schubert . The work of Andrés Segovia , Julian Bream and Karl Scheit inspired several main XX Century composers to include guitar in chamber music works, sometimes in quite exotic combinations. Villa Lobos, Castelnuovo Tedesco, Britten, Rodrigo, Webern, Stravinsky, Takemitsu, Kurtag, Guastavino, Brouwer, Duarte, Piazzolla and many others produced wonderful pieces. Our University tries to stimulate the chamber music playing in general. I invite all guitarists and musicians to submerge in this wonderful sonorous world. Ensemble articulation, breathing, sound balance, sound colouring, voicing, phrasing, communication, gestures, interplay will be experienced and analized. The first performance of new pieces and team work with composition classes will be stimulated.
