By the end of the course students will have an understanding of the research process.

By the end of the course students will understand the basic structure of an academic paper.

By the end of the course students will be able to review academic literature and properly cite sources in their own academic works.

By the end of the course students will be able to write and revise a seminar paper as a group.

By the end of the course students will have a basic understand of theoretical perspectives prevalent in management studies.

By the end of the course, students will have a basic understand of research methodology.

By the end of the course students will be able to give constructive feedback to their peers.

1. Reading critically and analyzing management and economics texts

2. Narrowing a researching theme towards a research topic

3. Coming up with a research question

4. Drafting and revising an academic paper as a group

5. Presenting work and giving feedback to peers


Students will be assess individuals in the first assignment (Mini Literature Review/Annotated Bibliography), and thereafter, evaluated as a group based on group assignments.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

20% literature review (individual assignment)
80% seminar paper and presentation (group assignment)
