The PS deepens the content of the VU and aims at an understanding of human decision making processes and how they relate to firms, society and the economy. A central learning content is the improvement of students' presentation and discussion skills.

The following topics are central to the PS: fundamental assumptions of rational decision making, incentives in companies, social inequality, and moral decision making in markets.

Lecture, presentations of students, discussions.

Presentation, discussion.

See lecture (VU). Further literature will be announced during the PS.

Requirements for course participation: see curriculum.

Attention: compulsory attendance at the first PS unit.

Due to the current Covid situation and the requirements of the university management, it is not yet foreseeable whether the course can be held completely in attendance. It is possible that especially at the beginning of the summer semester the course will still have to be held virtually. Please be aware of possible changes at short notice.
