Basic knowledge of Medieval Latin language, literature, and culture.
Reading selected texts of important Latin writers of the Middle Ages (from Isidorus to Jacobus de Voragine), with focus on Carolingian Renaissance, 12th century and Medieval Latin poetry.
Lecture and reading together.
Intermediate exams ("flash tests") and final exam (90 min); Active participation and cooperation are prerequisites for admission to the final exam.
