To deal with literary texts reflecting on the methodology and to develop a well-founded understanding of literary texts using meaningful examples

On the basis of selected works by Franz Kafka, various methodological and theoretical approaches to literary texts are demonstrated and tested together. In addition to insights into the social and cultural conditions of the era and a literary-historical classification, the focus is on text analysis and interpretation. The focus is on stories, including "Das Urteil", "Die Verwandlung", "Ein Bericht für eine Akademie", but also on novel fragments.
