Students will learn to understand how language (learning) experience from contact with a number of languages including English impacts language development from a longterm perspective.

In this course we will concentrate on language experience as key variable of language learning development with a particular focus on multilingual learners with English in their repertoire. Topics to be discussed range from types of learners, socio- and psycholinguistic factors of learning to language assessment and diagnostics.
