Critical examination of archaeological and written source material, linking of historical and archaeological arguments, competence to present local historical contexts.
We will travel through Northern Italy, visiting Verona, Brescia, Ravenna, and Bologna, among others. A broad perspective will lead us to different sites, from city centres to churches, monasteries, and excavations.
