Graduates of this module are expected to understand and explain the content of the course, and to be able to apply the methods of the course. They should acquire the ability to further develop the concepts and methods of Quantum Engineering themselves. Furthermore, they should acquire a basic understanding of Pvarious Quantum Systems which are used for Quantuminformation processing, Quantumsimulation and quantum enhanced Metrology.
In this lecture we will discuss various experimental systems for Quantuminformation processing, Quantumsimulation and quantum enhanced Metrology. Furthermore, various experimental methods will be introduced to control and readout different Quantumsystems.
Will be discussed in the first lecture.
