Learning Outcome:

This course should enable students to apply geophysical methods for various problems in Earth sciences, recognise specific benefits and drawbacks of the presented methods, perform basic calculations and interpretations, and analyse geophysical and petrophysical data and models in technical reports and scientific publications.

Contents:

Introduction to applied geophysical methodology (seismic, gravimetric, radiometric, geothermic, geoelectric and magnetic methods). Physical and petrophysical basics, applications).
