Students know different regions, territorial structures, spacial processes and effects of the men-environment-system. Moreover, they are able to evaluate socio-economic use of landscape potential and identify spatial issues.

The field trip leads to selected areas where various forms of men-environment interaction are illustrated and discussed on site. In practical terms, this excursion follows a regional-geographic approach using the spatial examples of the Central Inn Valley and neighboring southern areas. The physio and human geographic issues will be shown in the City of Innsbruck and surrounding (mountain) zones.
