The students of the Lehramt will acquire an overview and a deeper understanding of medical microbiology and the infection biology of those zoonotic pathogens, which are relevant for central Europe. They will also get an overview over relevant immunizations.

The following topics will be discussed:
-Middle European Zoonoses
-Vaccinations
-Human Microbiom, Virom, Parasitom

-Epidemiology, Eradication of human pathogenic infectious organisms
-Infections of the CNS
-Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV
-Overview over important humanpathogenic viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites

The topics will be conveyed by interactive lectures (limited participants, eduvote).

Recommendations will be given at the start of the lecture series.
