Students learn and train the transfer of academic knowledge and and communication of science based on various formats towards the broad public.
The dialog with the society is a cenrtal task of universities and respective competences in science communication thus highly relevant.
In this course, students learn to explain and present scientific resultas and underlying scientific strategies in a simple, clear and attractive way. Science communication techniques will be teached and trained based on various formats, such as preparation of articles and talks for the broad public or interview situations.
Teaching of basics in blockes lectures, learning and training of communication techniques as well as feedback in groups.
Active participation (50%) and planning, execution and evaluation of a presentation (50%)
