At this level learners can understand simple sentences and common expressions in areas pertinent to life – e.g. personal and family details, shopping, leisure; can describe their social and educational background, the immediate and concrete surroundings and needs in simple terms; can carry out chores – e.g. while shopping or travelling.

leisure time and sports, shopping; a visit in a city/region; the Italian language; transport
Linguistic Goals:
to report/narrate something; to talk about friends/family; to understand a simple travel offer; to book a room in a hotel; to express opinions and give reasons; to utter wishes; to express a request/recommendation in a polite way

compound object pronouns – to emphasize known states; si-construction – to express something in an impersonal manner; relative superlative – to emphasize something or someone in a group of things or people
