The students are able to critically evaluate different concepts of spiritual education. They know ways of spiritual learning and can implement them in different fields of activity in an age-appropriate way.

"Just once to look out the window like that." This longing was formulated by a 17-year-old student when asked what quality of life means to her. In view of the permanent pressure to perform and communicate - fueled, among other things, by social media - she longs for moments in which she can indulge her own thoughts, come to herself and be there without purpose. What does this self-statement of a student mean for the concern of religious education in school and extracurricular contexts? In the seminar we will critically examine different concepts of spiritual education. We will shed light on the relevance as well as different ways of spiritual learning in different fields of religious education (kindergarten, school, family, youth work,...) and in the interreligious context.
