Curr. 2021 § 5 (1) 15: 

The lecture deals with "agri-food studies" beyond the usual divide between food production and consumption. The connection between patters of food production and consumption are analysed on a macro scale (e.g. globalisation, re-localisation, concentration processes in processing and retail etc.) and on a micro and meso scale (e.g. quality concepts, changing patterens of production and consumtion etc.). The most common concepts and theories for agri-food analysis are presented and discussed.

classical lectures in the classroom are combined with "virtual lectures" of international scholars, made available on OLAT plus interactive sessions for deepening and discussion.

Essays on lectures, active participation in group and plenary work, presentations. Further details will be announced in the course.
