Students will learn to identify their communication style and the style of others, the strengths and blind spots of each style, and what impact internal, external as well as organizational factors have on communication. Students will gain a better understanding of conflict situations and how to deal with them.

- Exploring several communication styles

- Identifying your and other participants' communication skills challenges

- Writing a communication plan

- Dealing with conflicts

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

Successful completion of the mandatory courses  Approaches to Organization Studies (APPROS) referred to in § 7 Z 1

Attendance is compulsory. This workshop is for first semester organization studies students and can only be taken in combination with the lecture "433058 Introduction into Communication and Conflict Theory".
